Focus: Maggie Sellers Reum personal brand and partnerships
HSR Media is a modern media and investing platform for ambitious women, built at the intersection of media, business, investing, and culture, co-founded by Maggie Sellers Reum in 2023. Our flagship podcast, Hot Smart Rich, is a Top 10 Business podcast featuring candid conversations with the founders, investors, creators, and cultural figures shaping what comes next.
In December 2025, Hot Smart Rich announced a landmark seven-figure strategic investment from FlightStory, the global media and investment company co-founded by Steven Bartlett, host of The Diary of a CEO, the second-largest podcast in the world. The partnership backs our ambition to build the biggest female ambition brand of the next decade.
Our world sits somewhere between the Wall Street Journal and your FYP. We are equally interested in what everyone is talking about and the business behind why it matters, helping our audience understand not just what is happening, but what it signals about where the world is going.
We are hiring a Founder Content Manager to build and run the personal brand and content ecosystem of our founder and CEO, Maggie Sellers Reum.
This is a hands-on hybrid role for someone who is equal parts content creator, producer, and brand manager. You will work directly with Maggie to capture her world in real time, turn ideas and moments into compelling content, and own the content calendar and distribution across her personal platforms. One day you might travel with Maggie and capture behind-the-scenes content from an event, meeting, or trip. The next you could be shooting an iPhone vlog, turning around TikToks and Reels, clipping long-form content into social-first moments, or producing the creative for a sponsored campaign.
You will not just manage the content. You will make it.
To be direct about what this role offers in return: you will build one of the most visible founder brands in the creator economy, with the backing and distribution of the FlightStory partnership behind it. The content you make here is portfolio-defining work with real creative ownership, and the role is designed to convert to full-time as the brand and your impact grow.
Content strategy and the calendar. Help shape the creative direction and day-to-day content strategy for Maggie's personal brand. Own the content calendar and distribution across Instagram, TikTok, Substack, Threads, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Develop original concepts, recurring franchises, hooks, and formats that strengthen the founder brand, and partner with the Hot Smart Rich social team on collaborative posts.
Capture and production. Capture content across Maggie's work, travel, investments, events, podcast recordings, partnerships, and day-to-day life, including traveling with Maggie as needed. Shoot social-first content (TikToks, Reels, Shorts, BTS, iPhone-first video) and capture footage for longer-form vlog and YouTube content in collaboration with the broader production team.
Editing and distribution. Independently edit social-first content and identify compelling moments from HSR, the podcast, vlogs, and other long-form content to cut into short-form for Maggie's personal channels. Manage organic content from idea through capture, edit, approval, publishing, and distribution. Track performance and use the insights to continuously sharpen creative, formats, hooks, and distribution.
Brand partnership content. Contribute to creative development and own the creative execution of sponsored content across Maggie's personal platforms. Translate approved partnership briefs into platform-native concepts, and develop the scripts, treatments, and shot lists required for approval. Own production from pre-production and filming through editing, revisions, and final asset delivery, working closely with the Chief of Staff to incorporate client feedback and hit agreed requirements and timelines. Protect Maggie's voice and the integrity of her personal brand while delivering against approved brand messaging.
By 30 days, you have a consistent capture and publishing rhythm running across every platform, you can edit in Maggie's voice without heavy revision, and you have shipped your first sponsored campaign on time and on brief.
By 90 days, Maggie's personal channels are growing on the strength of formats and franchises you created. Sponsored content performs well enough that partners return. The content engine runs on your judgment, and Maggie trusts you with the camera in any room.
